Meet Queen Jubilee Hedonisto: The Joyful Slug Monarch of Eugene!

41st in a line of wild Slug Queens, Jubilee’s mission is simple: have fun and make sure everyone else does too!

By day, Jubilee is known as Jilynn. Growing up she struggled with frustrating personal and social challenges, but with supportive family, friends, and lots of therapy, she now feels fully radiant. Embracing her uniqueness, she decided to step into the public eye and make a run for the crown.

Jilynn built her Slug-sona around pleasure activism, believing that a community that plays together can better face challenges together. As Jubilee, she proudly supports local non-profits, especially the Burrito Brigade, which reduces food waste and feeds the community.

Jubilee knows life isn’t just a slime through the park, but she champions the idea that joy and pleasure are ultimate forms of resistance and inclusion, and that even small acts of kindness can have a big impact.

Jilynn works at Eugene’s public library, finding humor in the city’s efforts to function. She loves that her job aligns with her values and serves the community. Eugene is filled with passionate, caring people, and Jubilee encourages everyone to celebrate our successes and create a thriving community.

In sluggish moments Jubilee enjoys chaotic crafting, landscaping, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her wealth of friends and family.

Jubilee’s mission as the Slug Queen is clear: encourage Eugenians to find common bonds, and nurture human connections through wholesome mayhem. She believes that embracing joy can be a radical act and urges everyone to choose empathy, kindness, and ongoing happiness. Jubilee embodies a spirit of joy, creativity, curiosity, care, rebellion, and indulgence, uniting Eugenians through wholesome satisfaction
